“The Diabetes Professional Care conference is well organised. I like the way that attendees can dip in and out – it is much more flexible having a rolling programme. Other shows tend to be didactic, and I much prefer it this way, it’s more helpful. All the delegates have different agendas for being here. From my perspective, the use of medication is worsening abnormal renal function in the vast majority of my patients. Lots of drugs are of a similar type but in terms of renal dosing, it’s quite variable. Coming here helps me figure out which is better for my patients.”

Abhi Sinha, Consultant/Doctor

‘‘it’s really easy to register, it’s free to attend, easy to get to and is a really good opportunity to network, meet with colleagues and obviously learn about the new products that are coming onto the market.’’

Vicky Alabraba, Diabetes Education and Research Associate

“I found the Diabetes Professional Care conference easy to get this year – it’s very well organised. There has been lots going on. I am a Podiatrist and I really like the Diabetes Professional Care conference as it isn’t just about feet. At Diabetes Professional Care you learn about all the body.”

Evette Rowe, Podiatrist, Homerton Healthcare

‘’The range of topics is great, one of the things that I value is the networking because I get to see people that I’ve known forever but we don’t get to see each other except at these meetings.’’

Moji Akinsola, Diabetes / Endo consultant

‘’We come every year, we can’t go from one end of the hall to the other without getting stopped and having conversations, it’s absolutely brilliant.’’

Amanda Epps, Founder, DSN Forum

‘’Knowledge and practice don’t stand still, it’s really important that people who are providing healthcare advice are up to date. This conference is intensely practical and because we are practical people, it’s a phenomenally important thing to come here and join in.’’

Professor Roy Taylor, Senior Diabetologist, Newcastle University

‘’I think there is just so much here, so much to do in the two days, it’s a really broad range of topics which I think is fantastic.’’

Jane Diggle, Specialist Diabetes Nurse Practitioner
