Peter worked as a Research Officer at the Wound Healing Research Unit, Dept. of Surgery, University of Wales College of Medicine between 1993 and 1994 before moving to the University of South Wales where he was a Reader in Computing at the Faculty of Computing and Mathematical Sciences. Following a NIHR funded trial in collaboration with the National Physical Laboratory and 3 UK teaching hospitals on the use of thermography in diabetic foot ulcer prevention he co-founded Thermetrix Ltd to develop the Podium device that is the subject of the presentation.
