Matthew is the Advanced Clinical Diabetes and Endocrinology Pharmacist at Hull University Teaching Hospitals. He is currently a visiting lecturer for the University of Lincoln School of Pharmacy and a member of the UK Clinical Pharmacy Association Diabetes and Endocrinology Committee. Within his NHS Trust Matthew is heavily integrated with the diabetes inpatient team, spending his time providing advice on management as well as direct patient care. Alongside the HUTH consultant team, Matthew’s other roles involve quality improvement for insulin safety and transfer of care as well as specialist guideline provision for the wider Hull and East Yorkshire area. As a professional passionate about education, and having worked in dedicated education roles prior to specialising, Matthew is focussed on advancing the training and confidence of junior medical staff, nurses, pharmacists and other HCPS in management of insulin
