Lorraine joined the PRSB in 2015. After the first half of her career in corporate banking, Lorraine moved into the NHS 18 years ago, initially as one of the executive team responsible for creating the new health regulator, the Healthcare Commission. There Lorraine was responsible for defining and implementing the information strategy to transform the approach to regulation through the intelligent use of information. Lorraine has worked in variety of roles in the NHS including commercial, strategy, and change/transformation including leading national transformation programmes. At the PRSB, Lorraine has led the organisation from start up to being an integral and respected part of the UK standards infrastructure with a unique and strongly engaged membership spanning 83 health, care and patient advocacy groups. Lorraine also championed PRSB's launch of the innovative Partner Scheme, working closely with industry to accredit their conformance with standards
