Finley combines his role as a research dietitian, working on the delivery of research assessing the impact of pharmacotherpay, diet and lifestyle on obesity and type 2 diabetes outcomes, with his diabetes dietetic clinics supporting patients to make lasting change to support their diabetes or weight management goals. Finley is able to bring a blend of lived experience, having type 1 diabetes himself and healthcare knowledge to his work. Finley believes there is a complementary role between pharmacotherapy and diet and lifestyle changes which can help maximise the benefits of both for patients.
