Bethany Kelly, RN, QN, MSc is a multi-award-winning Diabetes Specialist Nurse and Lead Community Clinical Nurse in Wiltshire. She qualified from the University of Southampton in 2008 and completed her MSc in Diabetes Practice at Swansea University in 2021. Awarded the title of Queen’s Nurse in 2024, she became a Professional Nurse Advocate in 2025. A Director of the Diabetes Specialist Nursing Forum UK since 2018, Bethany co-founded @_diabetes101, recognised with QiC Awards for excellence. Widely published and an international speaker, her interests include type 1 diabetes, Early Onset Type 2 Diabetes, Young adult care, insulin safety, and diabetes technology.
