Amy Winchcombe is currently on a gap year, hoping to study medicine after gaining three A grade A-levels this summer. She loves music, reading, travelling and has a new found love of parasailing and parascending. Amy has presented at many events and conferences, with topics ranging from life with Type 1, to transition, to closed-looping. She has lived with Type 1 since 2010, been on a pump since 2013, using CGM part-time since 2014, Nightscout since 2015 and looping since 2018. She currently uses a Dana RS insulin pump, Dexcom G5 and AndroidAPS as her DIY closed loop system.
