The highs and lows of blood glucose: advice for primary care

It is important that those working in primary care have an awareness of the impact of acute hyperglycaemia or hypoglycaemia. It is not always clinically apparent when patients are experiencing symptoms as a result of dysglycaemia.

  • A suggested approach to hyperglycaemia will be outlined
