What's New for 2022

Updates from the national team:

The national team for diabetes will share the key information you need to inform your practice. They will cover the different workstreams, including prevention, digital, and the treatment and care of type 1 and type 2 diabetes. Visit the NHS Park for showcases of best practice and examples of how teams have implemented new ways of working and addressed challenges.

Health inequalities:

The pandemic has shone a bright light on health inequalities, but it can be difficult to know where to start. Join us to hear inspiring, but achievable and applicable, ways in which colleagues from across the country have addressed health inequalities for their populations.

Diabetes and multimorbidity:

As we move towards a more holistic, multimorbid approach to diabetes care, join experts to discuss CVD prevention, CKD, hypertension and atrial fibrillation, among other conditions. Explore complex cases and refine your approach to individual patients, as well as looking at strategic system level change for your population as a whole.

Guideline updates:

Debate and discuss the latest guideline updates. Ensure you are up to date on the latest guidance from NICE, EASD and others and consider what works well and what doesn’t. You will also be able to learn and share best practice on implementing guidelines with the resources you have.
