New exhibitors take to the floor at DPC2018

Exhibitor Story - Oct Newsletter_1200

The DPC2018 exhibition will, once again, provide visitors with a unique opportunity to see the latest diabetes products and services, and meet with leading solutions providers on the show floor.

Exhibitors will cover represent industry sectors, including: pharmaceutical, life sciences, education, diagnostics, charity, e-health, podiatry, wound care, and diet and nutrition.

While many organisations will be returning to DPC2018 – with several having supported the show from its launch in 2015 – we also look forward to welcoming a number of new exhibitors to this year’s event, including Gold Sponsors Dexcom and Takeda, and Silver Sponsor Lilly Diabetes.

Dexcom (stand B5), a worldwide leader in CGM technology, will showcase its Dexcom G6 CGM system for discreet, non-invasive blood glucose monitoring for people with type 1 diabetes.

Takeda UK (stand I12), a wholly owned subsidiary of Japan’s largest pharmaceutical company, will be on hand to discuss its Actos and Competact treatments for type 2 diabetes.

Lilly Diabetes provides resources, programmes and educational materials to help people with diabetes to manage their condition. Visit stand G4 to find out how these can help you to support your patients with diabetes.

Other new exhibitors include:

Diabetes Knowledge in Practice (stand D26)

Frio (stand A22)

Medtrum (stand B24)

Neon Diagnostics (stand C21)

Oped (stand H17)

One Touch (stand I6)

Sanofi (stand C27)

Scope Ophthalmics (stand A8)

DPC2018 will also see the return of The Edge, the show’s popular innovation zone for health-tech start-ups, who have developed or are in the process of developing pioneering new solutions for improving diabetes cares. This year’s participants will include Counterweight, with its intensive weight loss programme for overweight or obese people with type 2 diabetes, and Thermetrix, with its unique device for the early detection of foot and leg problems resulting from diabetes. Other Edge exhibitors include Metabolic and Innovation Zed.

“The Edge is our area dedicated to the most innovative start-up companies in diabetes,” says Toby Baker, Event Director, DPC2018. “We wanted to make sure that, alongside more established companies in diabetes care, there was the opportunity for smaller companies to be here as well.

“Every year, exhibitors in The Edge move to a full-sized exhibition stand the next year, so it must be working for them.”

One company making the move to the main exhibition this year is TickleTec, who made its DPC debut last year with the ground-breaking TickleFLEX insulin injection aid.

Head to stand B18 to discover the exciting new product that TickleTec will be unveiling at DPC2018!

And look out for a link next month to our DPC2018 Industry Preview Magazine, with information on new launches and other show news from this year’s exhibitors.
