DPC shortlisted for prestigious awards

ENA 2018

We’re pleased to announce that DPC has been shortlisted in all four categories we entered in the EN Awards, the event industry’s most prestigious accolades.

The categories are: Best Trade Event, Best Event Director (for Toby Baker), Best Feature (for the Hypo Hub) and The Indy Award (for Independent Organiser of the Year).

The new Indy Award has been introduced to “specifically recognise brilliance among the smaller and more specialist companies”, say the organisers, “who have shown inventiveness, creativity, growth and endeavour alongside outstanding shows”.

“As a small team, totally dedicated to improving the lives of people with diabetes, it is very rewarding to see our hard work recognised,” says Toby Baker, Event Director, DPC.

“We’re very proud of what we’ve achieved with DPC in just over two years. We’ve more than doubled our audience of healthcare professionals, grown our exhibition, and have continued to attract many of the top names in diabetes healthcare to share their expertise at our conference and workshops.

“There is still of course much to do, with recent analysis showing 4.6 million* people with diabetes in the UK. But, by providing accessible education and training for healthcare professionals, we hope we have played our part in helping to bridge the skills gap in diabetes care.”

The EN Awards winners will be announced on 23 March 2018.
