Ensuring DPC remains a completely free, CPD-accredited conference for all healthcare professionals involved in diabetes care “reflects our commitment” to improving the lives of people who have diabetes.

The whole concept of the two-day show was to provide accessible and inclusive education for the entire multi-disciplinary team (MDT) in a bid to improve the care and health outcomes for people who are living with type 1 or type 2.

This would not be possible year after year without the generous support of our exhibitors and sponsors, many of whom have believed in us from the start.

We wanted to take the opportunity to thank our returning long-standing sponsors Abbott Diabetes Care, Novo Nordisk, AstraZeneca, Roche Diabetes Care, Lilly Diabetes, MSD, Eli Lilly and Boehringer Ingelheim alliance and GlucoRx.

DPC Founder Maggie Meer said: “Exhibitors and sponsors are the backbone to DPC, ensuring it remains a free event for all the thousands of healthcare professionals who attend every year.

“Our clients are extremely important to us and we work hard to create opportunities that involve sponsors who can work alongside relevant thought leaders. Together they create unique content and relevant product demos which gives stands a bit more interest.

“The breadth of exhibitors and sponsors reflects our commitment to improving the care and outcomes for people with diabetes and we are extremely grateful to all those involved.”

DPC is also known for its diversity and innovation, which is why it is always looking to collaborate with new industry partners, giving start-ups the platform to promote their product and engage with potential customers from the field of diabetes.

So far this year DPC has already welcomed a number of new sponsors and exhibitors on board for DPC2020 including:

Acon Laboratories /HealthyMe, which leads the way in making point of care medical diagnostics more affordable to people all around the world, will make its DPC debut, showcasing its current diagnostic product lines.

Duet Diabetes, which provides a service that aims to improve the skills and confidence of carers, nurses and healthcare support workers and the standards of diabetes care they provide, has come on board for DPC2020.

This year visitors will get the opportunity to try out the Gluco QuantumTM, which is a patented and proprietary method of detecting blood glucose using metabolic heat, after the company signed up to attend the two days.
