It has been well recognised that people with diabetes are much more likely to come to harm should they catch COVID infection. The national diabetes COVID response team have produced a series of guidance on a number of issues that were well received. The data from NHS England also showed that many aspects of outpatient and inpatient diabetes care were significantly affected by the pandemic. These will all be discussed
