DPC Eye Clinic
Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is the most common type of diabetic eye disease. It is caused by high blood glucose levels damaging the retina, and can cause blindness if left undiagnosed and treated.
The clinic’s programme will focus on delivering the latest information around early detection and identification of diabetic retinopathy. It is aimed at all healthcare professionals who come into contact with diabetes patients, to ensure they’re informed about available treatment options.
The DPC Eye Clinic will also include the opportunity to view DR patient scans, and learn about available and future technology and treatment options.
Speakers will include retinal screeners, researchers, ophthalmologists, primary and community care HCPs, and diabetes specialist HCPs.
