This session will be a demonstration of a full lower limb vascular assessment including palpation of pulses from the femoral to the foot and include the use of doppler waveforms/ sounds, toe and ankle pressures. Candidates will be given the opportunity to carry out a  basic vascular assessment to meet clinical guideline 147 and practice their skills.

• To introduce principles of correct doppler technique and interpretation of doppler sounds and waveforms
