Clinical implementation of closed loop technology for people with type 2 diabetes in the hospital setting

We will be sharing a project undertaken at Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundations trust, exploring the clinical implementation and use of closed-loop technology for people with non-type 1 diabetes during admission to hospital. We will present how we undertook the project, the clinical outcomes, and early learning which will inform the next phase of implementation

  • Be aware of the evidence base relating to the use of closed-loop technology in the hospital setting
  • Gain insight into real-world clinical outcomes for patients with non-type 1 diabetes in hospitals using closed-loop insulin technology
