This session will look to understand what diabetic retinopathy is and what the screening results mean and how primary care can help people with diabetes understand these as well as help to prevent and delay progression of diabetic retinopathy

• To consider what the role of glycaemic and blood pressure management is in diabetic retinopathy
• To understand the role diabetes teams play in preventing and delaying diabetic retinopathy
